$60,000 Offered for Proof of Minnesota's Legendary Lake Monster

LOCATION: Lake Pepin, MN USA

There's $60,000 waiting for anyone who can prove that a monster lives in Minnesota's Lake Pepin. Local author Goran Pesic has increased a longstanding reward for evidence of Pepie, the enormous serpentine creature supposedly inhabiting the Mississippi River lake. But don't expect to collect the money with a blurry photograph of something splashing in the distance. The challenge requires clear footage, identifiable landmarks, biological evidence and unanimous confirmation from scientists. Apparently, even lake monsters have to pass a background check these days.
