VHS VAULT Monthly Feature...

Released in 1922, Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror follows the sinister Count Orlok as he brings death and plague from Transylvania to a quiet German town. F.W. Murnau’s eerie shadows and Max Schreck’s unforgettable Orlok helped shape horror cinema for generations.

There was one problem: Nosferatu was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Stoker’s widow sued, and a court ordered every copy destroyed. But Nosferatu refused to stay dead. Like Count Orlok himself, a few copies survived—and more than a century later, so does his legend.
